About the Work
Within the Afterbloom Units, what once existed manifests itself through a poetic gesture of remembrance. Preserved blossoms are not merely conserved; embedded within modules that sustain their continued existence, they become symbols of transience and memory
.Each afterbloom carries within it a fragment of existence: an echo of growth and flowering. In the tension between organic material and the subtle constructed technology that supports it, their imperfection remains perceptible. Some blossoms fade, while others appear almost alive, unpredictable, much like memory itself.
The installation Afterbloom Units creates a poetic space in which nature and symbolic construction merge. It reminds us that memory can never be fully controlled. Precisely through their fragility, the blossoms reveal their vitality and an echo that continues to bloom beyond time.
